The 29th edition of Art Chicago, May 1-4, 2009, (Opening Preview on Thursday, April 30) at The Merchandise Mart, will align with the Museum of Contemporary Art’s exhibition, Take your time: Olafur Eliasson, opening Friday, May 1, 2009 at the MCA.

“The partnerships that Art Chicago has made with the city’s top cultural institutions, collectors and civic leaders echo our conviction that Chicago is an important destination city for the arts,” said Tony Karman, vice president of Art Chicago.

The Olafur Eliasson presentation includes sculptures, photographs and immersive environments that elegantly recreate the landscape in his native Scandinavia. The show will run through September 13, 2009 at the MCA, Chicago.
