Art Chicago and NEXT are pleased to announce our 2010 Advisory Committee for Converge Chicago: Contemporary Curators Forum, which will take place at the fairs April 30-May 3, 2010.

James Rondeau, Art Institute of Chicago, Franklin Sirmans, Menil Collection, Hamza Walker, Renaissance Society, Anthony Huberman, Contemporary Art Museum, Saint Louis and Julie Rodrigues-Widholm, Museum of Contemporary Art have signed on to provide guidance and support to Converge panel discussions, lectures and public programs. More advisory committee members will be announced in coming months. 

The goal of Converge Chicago is to provide a dynamic and art-filled platform for meaningful dialogue among curators, arts professionals, museum administrators, artists and critics.  2010 public programs will be organized around the theme Production of the New, as organizations continue to navigate a challenging economy and changing times.
